Choose your platform and download the installer.
Follow the steps for your operating system.
Click the macOS download button above or use the web app method.
Double-click Amazon-Quick.dmg in your Downloads folder.
In the installer window, drag the Amazon Quick icon to the Applications folder.
Launch from the Applications folder or Launchpad.
Click the Windows download button above or use the web app method.
Double-click Amazon-Quick.exe and follow the on-screen prompts.
After installation completes, open Amazon Quick from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
.\Amazon-Quick-Setup.exe /S. This installs Amazon Quick for the current user in %LOCALAPPDATA% and creates desktop and Start menu shortcuts. To deploy to a managed fleet with MDM (for example Microsoft Intune or Jamf), use the per-machine installers: a signed .pkg for macOS and a per-machine .exe for Windows. Managed policies (DisableSocialLogin, DisableAutoUpdates) use the preference domain com.aws.QuickWork.mac on macOS and HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Amazon\Quick on Windows. The sign-in process depends on your account type.
Open the app → On the sign-in screen, choose "Continue with" → Select your provider (for example email, Amazon, Apple, Google, or GitHub).
Enter your credentials on the provider's sign-in page.
Complete any multi-factor authentication prompts. The app loads the Home screen.
Open the app → On the sign-in screen, choose "Continue with single sign-on (SSO)". Optionally select your AWS Region, or choose Dynamic to detect it automatically.
A browser window opens. If you have no active Amazon Quick web session, sign in to Amazon Quick in the browser first; you are then redirected to your organization's identity provider. Enter your corporate credentials.
After authentication succeeds, the app loads the Home screen.
Connect your data sources to unlock Quick's full potential.
After first sign-in, Amazon Quick guides you through an onboarding flow to connect your data sources:
| Category | Description | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Calendar and email for meeting prep and action items | A calendar or email connector (for example Outlook) | |
| Messaging | Threads, DMs, and channels — triage what matters | A messaging connector (for example Slack) |
| Local Files | Grant access to folders on your computer | Any folder on your machine |
You're ready! Here's what you'll see on the Home screen.
A greeting based on the time of day and your name.
Start asking questions or requesting tasks immediately.
Setup cards for any data sources you haven't connected yet.
A summary of your highest-priority feed items, with a link to open the full feed.
Start using Amazon Quick Desktop. Explore the full feature guide or try the use cases.
